What is the Cost of a School Photo Day?
A nursery, preschool and school photography photoshoot is completely FREE.There is no cost to your school
A few weeks after the photoshoot has taken place, parents will be able to order prints, digitals or wall art from their online gallery. My pricelist is simple and aims to keep school portraits accessible to as many families as possible.
Your nursery, preschool, school or PTFA will also receive a share of all sale profits as a thank you for providing staff or volunteers to assist us on school photos day.
How a School Portraits Photo Day Works
Step 1
BOOK YOUR PHOTO DAY
There is no booking fee or cost to your setting.
I will visit your setting prior to school photo day and take the time to get to know your ethos, timetable and grounds to ensure the day runs smoothly.
Step 2
IT'S PHOTO DAY!
I'll bring everything I need with me and depending on the size of your setting.
I may bring an assistant or ask you to provide a member of staff or a volunteer to help with logistics.
Step 3
PROOF CARDS
Each child will take home a proof card. The child's private and secure online gallery can be accessed using the unique code on the proof card.
From here parents can purchase digital downloads, prints and products online.
Step 4
SCHOOL PORTRAIT DELIVERY
All print orders made before the deadline date will be delivered to the school directly ready to be shared with children and their families.
The school will receive their percentage of sales profits.

Nursery & School Photography FAQs
Do you shoot all year round?
Yes. Photoshoots can be booked for any time of year, but due to the outdoor nature of my photoshoots, spring, early summer and early autumn are my most popular slots.
What happens if it rains?
I pencil in at least one backup day so that we can reschedule if the weather is not on our side. Alternatively, we can look into suitable indoor or covered outdoor areas to use for the photoshoot.
How do parents receive their proofs?
On photo day, each child will be given a unique access card to take home. This contains a code to access their gallery of images. Photos will be ready to view approximately 14 days after the photoshoot. Parents can enter their details to receive a notification when the portraits are ready. They can then view the images and place their order online.
Print orders are sent in a batch for distribution at your nursery or school. Parents also have the option of direct shipping for a small delivery charge. Digital images are available for immediate download.
Which areas do you cover?
I work in nurseries, preschools and primary schools across Bristol, Bath, North Somerset, North East Somerset and South Gloucestershire.
Are you insured? And are you DBS checked?
Yes and yes. I have professional indemnity insurance and public and product liability cover.
I hold an enhanced DBS certificate that is updated each year.
What is your data protection policy?
I use GDPR-compliant software that is specifically designed for school and nursery photography.
Each child's images will be uploaded to an individual, secure online gallery, accessible only to those with its unique password.

Do you offer commission?
Yes. Your nursery or school has the option of 10% commission on profits, or the equivalent value of commercial shooting time for your setting.
